Epping Forest District Museum
Epping Forest District Museum based in Waltham Abbey since 1981 tells the story of the Epping Forest district through its collections of over 50,000 objects including:
- art
- archaeology
- photographs
- social history
- documents
The museum is housed in a Grade II* listed Tudor building and is part of Epping Forest District Council.

Opening Times
We are open from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
We are closed on Monday, Thursday, Sunday and all bank holidays.
Cost
Free entry.
Some of our activities and events have a separate charge. Donations are gratefully received.
